I wanted to love this podcast. As a new doula, the topic titles were both exciting and spoke directly to my curiosities, and I couldn’t wait to delve into the expertise and experience of well practiced pros. Instead, I got lengthy, belabored advertisements, self promotion, lots of personal off...Read full review »

I love this podcast! I love the fact that when they are talking about a subject they have their own experience as well as stats to back it up. I look forward to listening and learning every week. And if I happen to miss a week it’s a bonus because I get to binge listen. 🤣

I was very saddened by this podcast. As a doula myself, it was painful to hear the judgemental tones in the hosts voices, the negativity, and all of the commentary about ProDoula being superior to other doula training organizations. This podcast would make me weary to have a ProDoula doula at my...Read full review »

I’m two episodes in and I cannot listen to another… the negative energy and talking down was unbearable. I would not trust either of these women at a birth, seem to be in it only for the money and pride, no compassion or empathy. They spend so much time putting down other people and...Read full review »

I always find Angela & Eva’s insights and perspectives thought provoking. The industry needed more conversations like this happening and I love their practical approach to all the various topics. They truly hash out not only how this work affects clients but also how it affects doulas....Read full review »

This podcast doesn’t give a lot of useful information, spouts opinions and looks down on other birth workers. The hosts spend a lot of time talking about the weather and what all the other birth workers are doing wrong. This also feels like a commercial for ProDoula and they frequently talk bad...Read full review »

Love this podcast!!!!!! The first time I’ve heard a balance between natural, birth advocacy and not demonizing all healthcare providers! It’s time we had a more balanced perspective of supporting birthing families. Rock on!

Essentially a giant promo for ProDoula. I’d be pretty nervous to have these women attending my birth when they proudly announce their detachment from both their clients and outcomes and talk of doula work as primarily a business.

An Fbomb was dropped within the first few minutes of the first podcast I listened to. Sadly, not something I can listen to in the car with kiddos.

I started listening at season 2 and really appreciate the dichotomy of Angela and Eva. Angela brings her desire for data, great experience, and refined curiosity while Eva brings a lighter note to the discussions. That's not to say Eva is without experience or great valuable perspective but...Read full review »

Love this raw talk podcast. So interesting and helpful with figuring out if I want to go into the field or not. Thanks!

I am really loving these conversations, they warm my heart and soul. The dives on racial issues, the insight into doula work, LOVE them all. Keep them coming. I’m dipping my toes into the idea of becoming a Doula and this has been incredible having this Pod in my ear.
