I really like the form of this show. Having singular topics on each episode give the ability to dive deep into the history. Andrew is extremely knowledgeable with a long history in journalism. Added to Dan’s opinion from the “younger” crowd it makes for a very enjoyable experience.

For me, this is the perfect car programme. All cars, without the jokes and guffaws found in many other podcasts.

Having only discovered this podcast a few weeks ago, I’ve now started listening to one a day on the way to work. The office is only a mile away, but I tend to walk 3-4 miles instead so it fits with a podcast. Not only have I thereby lost weight (thanks, chaps!), but I’ve been enjoying every...Read full review »

I’ve only just found this great podcast. Most enjoyable. But, Andrew please please please stop saying “you know” all the time.

I work for a major car manufacturer and I struggle to find a title of podcast that isn’t of significant interest to real car people. Credible to the end, these two bounce off each other exceptionally well and the tone is spot-on. Keep it coming please, you’re doing a fantastic job 👍👍

Before the intercooler app was launched I really enjoyed these podcasts. However ever since the app was launched this podcast turned into an endless plug for the before mentioned app. So yes the previous episodes were very interesting and informative however unfortunately that’s not the case...Read full review »

Genuinely the best automotive podcast out there. Likeable, humble and an exceptional back catalogue of car knowledge backed up with fantastic language and storytelling. Can really see why Dan and Andrew are some of the most respected writers in the industry. Well done and best of luck to you both.

Followed Dan from the EVO days and done a story or two over the years. Bloody great driver and super knowledgeable and techie. Really understands the little details. Great podcast!

I love how knowledgeable Dan and Andrew are and enjoy the dry tone...I’ve gotten kind of tired of everyone always trying to be the next Clarkson. So refreshing to just listen to two smart people talking about cars.

Well done, honest and brilliant.

Hi Guys, really enjoying your podcasts, good to hear informed & constructive debate on the subjects so far. Far better than the overhyped TV stuff. I’ve been a follower of Andrew’s road tests (you communicate what it’s really like - worts & all) & racing articles so good to hear...Read full review »

Two pure car blokes having a genuine discussion about cars, car ownership and the odd racing talk. Perfect for the car enthusiasts. Love these Podcasts. Listened to every minute of every show. Proper journalists who have the knowledge & experience to backup their opinions. One thing....I’ve just noticed how often Andrew says “you know”, now it’s all I can hear.

Frankel is brilliant, knowledgable, experienced and fair. Prosser is like an echo, agreeing with absolutely everything with no added perspective, and says “I haven’t driven that” in almost every pod!

Thank You - Good Podcast, however I challenge you to do one without mentioning any of the following: Caterhams, Porsche 911, Golf and Alpine A110 :) Challenge accepted? How about a podcast on overlooked/niche alternatives to some of the above cars. Not all of us want to be so conformist...
