Moaning for the right reasons
To be fair, moaning isn’t really the right word. I should say, ‘Constructively critical with undertones of exasperation’. Which pretty much sums up how I also feel about modern cars. Andrew and Dan have such depth, passion and insight when talking about cars, I can almost feel that little GTi dancing its way through the lanes. It’s a real treat to listen to two gents at the top of their game sharing their thoughts and feelings on the past present and the future of 4 wheels. And, it’s also sad to say, that in my moody middle age, I agree with most of their sentiments about the state of the car business. I too yearn for a modern day Mexico, or a contemporary cortina (lotus, obviously). Until that day comes, I’ll keep listening to DN and happily grumble with the guys, out loud, while sipping a brew in the coffee shop.
