“This sort of pseudo spiritual good vibes only intellectually lazy copout "healing" is not only bad in that its a shameless grift for someone too lazy or uncharismatic to start a cult but possessed of all the megalomania and detachment of a Jim Jones...its actually dangerous to compel people down this path of avoidance masquerading as self exploration.
It lacks courage to tackle dark issues and instead papers over them with white-washed Eastern philosophy boiled down to the bumper sticker or twitter quote level.
