“They make me laugh! My kids are grown, but listening to your stories brings back so many good memories. One of you guys mentioned that someone said “wait till they’re teenagers.“ My sister is 13 years older than I am and had kids before I did. When I was having babies she used to always say “just wait till they’re older.” My firstborn was colicky, and I was having a hard time liking her so I didn’t need that advice. Haha. All that to say, just enjoy your kids! It sounds to me like you’re both doing a great job. Yes, parenting teenagers is hard. But parenting little ones is hard too. Just in a different way.
