Comedians used to be truth-tellers. Now you only serve to distract us from fascism.

This has turned into a few comedians talking about nonsense, 3 stories about 3-5 minutes each depending on episode, 20 minutes of ads and 35 minutes of promoting shows. Boring

Been a long time fan and it was much better when Dan just read the stories. Each of them has their strengths, and the twins are better at adding jokes and riffing than reading articles in a way that’s as captivating as when Dan does. I never leave podcast reviews, but felt like I needed to say...Read full review »

sklars, that dans lead, go way slower, and it’s the ‘this american life’ thing where ppl at first assume all these great stories are great bc they’re weird, but it really isn’t that. ie the wackiest stories are really seldom the actual best

This is a great comedy show. The stories they research are incredible. They book good guests. The hosts know how to keep things rolling smoothly. Show is funny in a way we’ve never seen people from the comedy world.

As someone who’s lived in Florida for most of his life, I feel SO well represented by this podcast! Cheers and libations 🥂

Listen to working comedians make fun of dumb people who ended up in the news! I can’t wait for Mondays when these drop. One of only 3 Patreons I’ve subscribed to.

These guys are awesome! I run my own business and spend most of my time working alone. Having them in my ears make the crazy insane hours that I work seem to go by quickly. Thank you for continuing to put these together for us.

Binge worthy. The Sklar brothers and Daniel are hilarious! You will not be disappointed. They do a great job of introducing you to other comedians and ways of supporting them too.

This show is now mostly ads, I’m not a fan of the new format. Jason is kind of insensitive with his jokes and a lot of the guests aren’t funny or adding anything either. Everyone talks over each other all the time and it’s hard to hear.
Dragonsmaidan via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/12/23
This show doesn’t care if I listen to it or not. The Sklars are very self satisfied hearing their own voice making fun of unfortunate people. I’ve listen to hours of this show and it is really just mean and not funny.
SDWater via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/22/23
There are so many people talking at once that it’s hard to hear anybody…these are funny but maybe work on one at a time talking…
Kr1314 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/28/23
The Sklar Brothers don’t give anybody else a chance to speak. Too many ads.

I’ve been a faithful fan of the Sklars for many, many years. Now I’m also into Daniel VK as well. DPT is absolutely my comic break in a sometimes hectic and stressful day. They always seem to brighten my day and often make me burst out laughing. Some of these comments drive me crazy though. One...Read full review »

I’m such a grateful citizen of dumb people town. DVK is an American treasure. Sklar brothers were kind to me and we talked about the Oblongs when I was in college. I proudly rep. DPT. The show never stops being funny. These guys are the biggest cheerleaders to all their guests and the jokes are...Read full review »

My absolute favorite. I’d be lost without DPT; Daniel, Jason, and Randy.

I’m put off by the number of ads and the amount of airtime spent on promoting themselves and their guests instead of focusing on the reason I originally tuned in - to hear about dumb people’s antics and Jason, Ran’s & Dan’s take on them. I get that you need to promote yourselves and your...Read full review »

I really enjoyed the show in the past. It has slowly become more commercials and banter than stories. They just did a reboot of the show and i my opinion it didnt help.
Meffggdhjfvdfh via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/04/22
The content is good but a majority of this show is ads and plugs. If you skip the ads and plugs the show is only like 10 minutes long.
Kentucky Oyster via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/22/22
Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate that this is free, but the ad-to-content ratio is painful. It feels like this show is an excuse to promote tour dates with very little substance in between. It’s basically Daniel slow-roll reading you a National Enquirer article while the Sklar brothers make...Read full review »

Literally cannot stop listening. The hardest I’ve laughed in a long time. Feels like you’re hanging out laughing with friends. I’ve loved the Sklars for years ♥️ this was my introduction to DVK whom I now also love ♥️ #TeamFlato

Longtime fan - always enjoy the show but I liked the back and forth during the Sean Blair episode asking who’s side are you on in the story as I kept changing teams as the story progressed.

FIVE STARS!!
Jackc69 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/06/22
Three good hearted comedian hosts and their celebrity guest try to understand the souls that make less then good decisions. The stories avoid any mental health issues, animal cruelty and murder… The news story is read by Midwest good ole boy co-host Dan, to twin brothers Jadon and Randy who’ve...Read full review »

I have been listening to this podcast for a couple years and it never disappoints! I consistently laugh every single show! The chemistry between the Sklars and DVK is incredible and their guests just seamlessly riff with the three hosts and the result is always hysterical. Thank you all for your...Read full review »

Thanks for the tip. Wonderful restaurant experience for anniversary. Smashed one of the windows in the car and grabbed wife’s nursing bag whilst we were eating. The meal was worth it . Thanks again.

I’m an ICU nurse and this podcast is turned on immediately on the drive home from every shift. No matter how insane my day was, these three make me laugh out loud. Love the dumb stories, and love Daniel + Jason and Randy more!

You know that a podcast is great when your coworker is asking if you are ok because you are laughing so hard it looks like you are crying.

I have been a fan of the show since it was sklarbro country, and the Sklars since cheap seats, but today I’m deleting my subscription. Jason and Randy pale in comparison to Dan, they rehash old, unfunny jokes. Make everything political, but are woefully uninformed. And generally just sneer at...Read full review »

Not sure I laughed once, but the hosts were laughing their heads off over their own jokes. Was there a turkey or a wounded cat in the room as it sure sounded like it. I am so confused as to what people were laughing about. Laugh track?

The ad breaks aren’t funny and like 10 minutes long. For a short podcast you can say you are sponsored by whoever and not make me feel like I’m losing my mind or banging my head on the wall. Also get rid of mental health app ads. They convince people they are depressed in the same way erectile...Read full review »

This show is so FUNNY! My only regret is I only found it a few months ago. If you want to laugh out loud listen to this podcast.

Randy, Jay and Dan are hilarious and relatable. The guests and analysis always hit More than a year later, I feel like a townie I wish Dan could use his cop-voice, “hey, buddy” to train actual cops to not yell at brown and Black citizens Love the show!

Love this podcast so much. Leopard Larry is my all time fave, with Jon Hamm in close second. I could do without the music in the live eps but whateves. I always laugh real hard.
