I’m sure it’s great, but...
Tried listening to the episode 1 and 2 combo from Season One and gave up. They warn you right away they’re mid-adventure and decided to record. Thus your first exposure to nearly two hundred episodes is essentially being dropped into the middle of a long-running show you know nothing about, and expected to get all the in-jokes and know who everyone is.

This is a great dnd actual play podcast. The characters are wonderful and well played and the dm is excellent at his job. I love their accents. I know that’s probably rude, but, I do. Aside from that, I love how you can hear the players progress not only the story but their own knowledge of how dnd works. I’m still on season one around episode 65 and I hope they start figuring out Russ’s puzzles. 🤞
