“I’ve listened to a whole bunch of D&D…Critical Role, Dimension20, Adventure Zone….and I like them a lot, but by Moradin’s beard, these guys are killing it in just the right way.
No self indulgent drawn-out sob stories, no tedious hours-long dice rolling marathons, no over the top try-hard cringey goofiness. Just 2 brilliant characters and a great DM, who nail the balance of story, humour, emotion, pace and the sheer joy of playing.
I’m half way through the CoS campaign, grinning my face off every episode, and frankly terrified of getting to the end and running out.
This pod deserve so much more attention and love than it gets, and I hope the Mossmen keep on smashing it out.
