A “must listen to” show!
I’ve been listening to Ear Hustle since the show started in 2017. As someone who works in the prison system in Canada, it’s been extremely interesting hearing about the experiences in the United States. The conversations on the show are so candid and open, and the topics are important issues that need to be discussed. I especially appreciate the episodes most recently where Nigel and Earlonne interviewed the assailant of a very serious crime, and then followed up by interviewing the victim in another episode. Having two perspectives was super interesting to listen to. Nigel’s questions are so direct with both the assailant and victim and it seems like nothing is held back. Thank you for continuing to have these important conversations! P.S. I loved the Ear Hustle challenge last year where participants were encouraged to reduce their freedom of choice and appreciate the constraints that are imposed upon so many incarcerated folks around the world. I would definitely recommend having another challenge like this!!
