“I’ve tuned into several episodes of Edit Your Life and I’ve quickly become a fan. I call it my ‘Goldilocks’ podcast because—for me—it has that ‘just right’ mix of ‘expert insights’ AND the ‘real life actions’ we can all take toward shaping a life that more closely aligns to what we want. As well, it’s a ’just right’ window of time—lots to glean from each episode…without biting into my schedule too hard!
I particularly loved the episode with Ellen Galinski—who has just released a new book on adolescent development. I leaned so much about the gap between the teenage brain’s risk assessment and self-regulation systems—and WHY this is so important as teens pivot outward to face the challenges of the wider world!
And I smiled to myself as they talked about how we may feel like chauffeurs, but that ‘car time’ with teens seems to be the ‘just right’ place for many of our teens to open up and share a bit.
Thanks Christine for continuing to bring on such excellent guests—and designing/navigating that Goldilocks balance of time, insight and practically for your listeners.”
