Does the adaption of Philip K. Dick's short stories make for an interesting hour of television? This first episode, titled 'The Hood Maker', is a fantastic introduction to the sorts of stories Electric Dreams will be presenting over the series. It's full of the visual aesthetic that Dick's writing pioneered and it's also an hour that's accessible, presenting concepts that aren't quite as 'out there' as some that are likely to follow.
