Neil H
Engaging and insightful walk through Bob Last’s working life, someone, who as an indie band member I always wondered has an interest in. As a fan of the Fire engines and my city’s Mekons, there were some illuminating moments. Notably ME challenging Last on his machinations with Virgins Simon Draper to split the human league into two(and taking the lead singer away from the writing team) to keep their deal in place. Very brave to leave the sense of hurt MW obvs still feeling and expose Last to some polite scrutiny. It’s slightly uncomfortable but worthwhile. It’s clear the podcast is driven by his personal network but it’s quite a list! Btw Martyn. You should do Ian at TDR - he has some great stories.

Great podcast , but I’m with Gary Numan .. Thatcher was a legend BTW Martyn , you’re a doppelgänger for Quentin Wilson . I saw you at Stansted Airport just before lockdown . I liked your boots ..

Stop talking about yourself. We’ve heard it. We know. The podcast has descended into an hour of narcissism.
