Martyn’s Wares
Electronically Yours with Martin Ware is a really fantastic podcast that anyone interested in the arts and entertainment world would enjoy. What sets it apart from others is Martin’s ability to have real conversations with his guests...he doesn’t rely on asking the same old boring questions and using stale interviewing techniques, which is so refreshing. His personal connections to many of his guests makes the listening experience extra enjoyable. For example: referring to Sananda Maitreya’s latest recordings as ‘spotty genius’ created a mood that ran through the rest of their conversation, resulting in an awkward yet funny exchange at the end. “Podcast Gold” as Martyn would say. I also love the “Smash Hits” Q&A and the synth noodles that he incorporates at the end of each episode. The gear talk is fun and if his Seven Deadly Synths idea doesn’t pan out, maybe he can do an offshoot called Martyn’s Wares that spotlights the synths and other gear he uses in his recordings and performances. Great job Martyn and thank you for putting out a quality product that is helping many of us get through these trying times!
