On Today's episode, I introduce you to Irem Duzdaban. Irem shares her story of how she grew up in a small town in Turkiye and had always dreamed of traveling the world.   Her passion for traveling led her into pursuing her dream career of becoming a Captain for a "mega" cruise ship, in an industry dominated by males. Irem was recently promoted as 1st Officer for Celebrity Cruises by Captain Kate McCue.  She shares how this was a huge honor, as Captain Kate is the first American female captain of a large cruise ship (Celebrity Beyond) and is considered both a pioneer and a trailblazer in this field -as she demonstrates and exemplifies that women can also succeed in this industry.
