Essential for your EM student rotations!
I'm a newly graduated physician assistant. I loved that these podcasts and show notes were available to me. Since we are trained in mostly primary care, these podcasts were amazing reviews on the most common EM complaints and helped me change to an EM way of thinking. Really enjoyed the style Dr. Carroll used to present the material, the show notes on the website, and extra resources he mentions. I recommend this to all PA students along with med students, paramedics, and EMTs. Always excited when I see new episodes up! Thank you!Read full review »

More reviews of EM Basic
Brief comprehensive overviews on how to recognize, work up and manage different chief complaints in the ER setting, set up in a practical way rather than just algorithms that are difficult to remember. Wish I had discovered it earlier.

Dr. Carrol's podcast is a great place for learners of any level as a primer or refresher on some of the most common EM issues. I am especially fond of the references in the show notes, so that we know the information is evidence based. Thanks Steve!Read full review »
