Great! But a note about humor
Humor is best defined as “benign violation”. It must break a norm or expectation yet still be benign. (Woody Allen called this the “bends is funny. Break is not”. The show at times makes awful statements as jokes but doesn’t seem to be aware of how harmful it is to some audiences who may experience those awful statements daily as real oppression. I cringe and hope they can tone down the nasty “imitations” of the worst in our society. The podcast would still be wonderful, curious, insightful, & enriching without echoing the racists and misogynist, even as satire.

Tries earnestly, and that is appreciated. Tacitly accepts misogynistic belief systems of guests without challenging them, despite claiming to be a feminist pod. Very hypocritical.

Aaron, GW, and the occasional guest, dig in to philosophy with the gusto that is both accessible, humorous, and tenacious. If you are a little warped and interested in how mind-thinky things work, this show is definitely for you.
