It's All or Nothing

Description
When the Israelites set out towards the Promised Land from Egypt, they were encouraged to move forward by the promises of God. During the journey, they faced inward and outward pressure to doubt God and give into their fears. Many did this and were left in the wilderness because of their unbelief. However, there were those who continued to hold out and experience the grace of knowing and seeing God’s promises fulfilled. Just like the Israelites, we can struggle with doubt and unbelief in God’s promises. We can go through painful heartbreaks and devastating losses that tempt us to pull away from the Lord and His word. Yet if we press our way through the hurt and disappointment, we will see the fruition of God’s promises in our lives. God not only kept every promise that the Israelites would live in peace, He kept even their clothes and shoes from wearing out (Deuteronomy 29:5) after 40 years in the desert! If God is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore, how much would He keep His promises to those who serve in the kingdom faithfully every day? We aren’t perfect in this Christian journey, but we serve a perfect Savior Who knows the desires of our hearts. Because we follow Him with a pure heart, the promises of God will be fulfilled in our lives. It’s all or nothing–either all the promises of God are yes and amen (2 Corinthians 1:20) or none of them are true. Our response is the same as our expectation of the Lord. We determine that it’s all or nothing in our journey—we serve, love, and give to the Lord all of our hearts, minds, and souls. We hold back nothing, and we will see the magnificent joy of the Lord manifested in our lives. PRAYER Dear Lord, it’s all or nothing for me. I believe in all of Your promises to be true, and I will serve You every day to give all of my life. Amen. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/felicia721/message
