In this episode Millie chats to Meg McCabe. Meg McCabe is a Carolyn Costin Institute Certified Eating Disorder Recovery Coach based in Denver, Colorado. She's the Founder and CEO of The Recovery Collective, a global and online eating disorder recovery community focused on healing together alongside peers and professionals, making recovery a less lonely place to be. She's also the host of the Full and Thriving: An Eating Disorder Recovery Podcast which provides listeners with free recovery education, resources and tools to encourage those with eating disorders to take action towards healing and reach full recovery. They discuss her eating disorder journey, her experiences in the modelling industry, body acceptance, how your relationship with food is like your relationship with yourself, transitioning from a meal plan to intuitive eating, mental hunger and how her lived experience inspired her to start The Recovery Collective.
