“Sam’s deadpan delivery & dry affect mixed with his amazing “radio voice” (podcast voice?) is what led me here.
Bec is so lovely & equally hilarious & they balance each other out & have such a great way of telling the story of what I know in my heart must be an abhorrent show, giving exact examples of the bizarre choices the writers, directors, actors, etc made.
To be this funny & also pull off succinct storytelling in a rewatch podcast is extremely rare.
I thought everyone loved this show when I saw it trending on Netflix, Facebook, & insta for the longest. Now I know for a fact people really do have horrible taste, because Bec & Sam are too overwhelmingly compelling in their argument on why this show is garbage.
Thanks for making me laugh. Life has been difficult, but knowing I can listen to this show & NOT have to watch EiP not only breaks up my tense days of work, school, & motherhood… it also lets me know I’m marked safe from ever having to watch another crappy show everyone lowkey shames me for not watching 🤗”
