Would have been five stars until this week
I've listened to several episodes and I loved it. Brooks and his guests are normally very funny. Brooks can of bull funny stories out of people in a way we can all relate to. However after listening to Episode 14 with Jay Mohr, my opinions of the show have changed. Jay seems to have a problem with gay people. He thinks it’s funny to pretend to be gay to get good parking spots or to use an elevator after hours. It was clear that Jay’s first offcolor story made Brooks uncomfortable, Brooks tried to change the subject quickly. However after the first story Brooks gave up and let Jay repeatedly slur using the other F work. After listening to this episode I’ve lost a lot of respect for Brooks, he should have done the right thing and told his guest that kind of talk isn’t welcome on “Entry Level”, I no longer feel like I can recommend this podcast to my friends and family.Read full review »

Glad this podcast is cool, right? Brooks on podcasts is #1 seed in my podcast tournament bracket and it’s never busted.

Entry Level gives you insight into the process of becoming a comedian while also revealing the humanity of its guests work experiences. Brooks is energetic and engaged, while his guests seem more than happy to be able to share stories from their early employment.
