Good idea, bad execution
Seemed like a good idea for a podcast and has great potential. However, it makes big picture claims that come across as rather surface level and degrade the rest of the story. (yes, it would be great if we could study the La Brea woman’s life not death but her “beliefs” aren’t something we have Evidence for so the question is a boring hypothetical) The podcast also insults the intelligence of its audience by presenting these fascinating events in a manner similar to children’s programming. (Why did you need to include the audience in the story of Piltdown Man? It felt out of place and geared toward the wrong target market) Seriously, you guys have gold on your hands bc this podcast concept is brilliant. However, unless these problems are fixed it won’t be listened to by the audience you are searching for.

The “clever” intros seem intended to draw in the listener. They work about as well as middle school essays, with “clever” opening paragraphs. Just get to the issue at hand.
