I thought this podcast was a great pairing with Eq Applied’s courses through episode 20. Episode 21 is a rant by someone named Sarah that oversimplifies many complex issues in an attempt to get people to not comply with COVID restrictions from two years ago (I think that’s the most objective...Read full review »

Of all the email lists I’m on, this is one of the few I take time to read. Emotional Intelligence is such an important topic that is becoming less common, and any way to raise the maturity level of interaction with our fellow man is a good thing that begets greater things.

Justin Bariso makes learning about emotional intelligence true to life. Very honest and practical examples that help you apply what you learn and put it into practice. The episodes got exactly the right length and amount of material for me to understand and remember.

I love Justin‘s way of making specific suggestions that feel doable and still are a big game changer to situations we have all encountered before and were not happy about.

I discovered EQ-Applied through an article called “Why Emotionally Intelligent People Embrace The Atomium Rule”, written by Justin Bariso. This was such an incredibly written article with so much takeaway. Being able to identify and manage your emotions is such an important asset to have in...Read full review »

I liked it, but it could have a little more to it. I remember taking a leadership class that taught how to shake out the list a little. Most important, tasks due soon, toughest or easiest. So, how to choose those first things first can be a nice way to breathe into it. Make four boxes and place...Read full review »

Great start Justin. Short, sweet, and actionable. Nothing says this will be painless like a 5 minute podcast. Looking forward to more content.

Justin Bariso starts out strong with a short and reasonable length for a first podcast with concise information that makes sense. The use of other voices and the background music also works perfectly with the upbeat message.

Quick, easy and to the point! Very well spoken and brought me back to ‘center’ as I am a person who tends t get paralyzed by fear of being overwhelmed. (ADHD) I am a person who is SO run by my emotions, they can get the best of me and procrastination is my middle name. Little things like this...Read full review »

I agree with your content. However after the intro, please turn off the happy music until the very end. It is very distracting. I also think your advice of first things first needs one qualification. Break the first task down into it basic steps and do the first step immediately. This breaks...Read full review »
