“I was pretty excited to see this podcast, but have found it almost unlistenable because of the speaking patterns of the hosts and several of the guests.
I get that it's a Milennial thing that is spreading like a virus, but I can't abide upspeak and vocal fry. either alone or a mix of the two. It sounds unprofessional in general and like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. Listen to highly rated, successful podcasts and chances are you'll find hosts (male and female) who don't employ these affectations.
