Have you ever heard stories of disobedience or rebellion? You can make a child obey but if they don't now the "Why" behind obedience, they may still fall astray later. We want them to obey NOT to make our lives comfortable or avoid embarrassment in front of other people. We want them to obey NOT because they would like to stay out of trouble. We want them to obey because of their loving relationship with God.

Do you like game shows? Our activity this week involved a couple of Bible flash cards (Bible Times Quiz and Bible Trivia) and we formatted the discussion like a game show! For our discussion, we reviewed the Gospel this week, emphasized why we need to study scripture and shared some ways that other Catholic Moms teach the Bible at home. Last but not the least - for this episode, we have a new Sound Byte for our Fun Facts Trivia! God bless you!

This Sunday, we have a Cool Object lesson that kinda simulates what happened to St. Thomas. The kids loved it so much they still kept on playing for a couple of hours with it after the recording. This Sunday is also very special for us because our son receives his First Holy Communion. And what a gift to receive it on Divine Mercy Sunday. How timely it is to have the reading when St. Thomas says, "My Lord and My God" and our kids pray the same prayer when the Host is lifted up. God's...

It's Palm Sunday! Yay! The Jews honored Jesus by waving Palm leaves. There are many ways of honoring Jesus and one of them is by loving our family. We can honor our family through words that encourage and affirm them. This episode, we made palm crosses and did a "Circle of Honor" wherein we affirmed each member of our family and gave our Palm Cross to them afterwards. If you would like to learn how to do a Palm Cross, kindly check out our YouTube Video Channel Episode. Thanks for...

Today's Sunday Gospel Reading is from John 12:20-33. We talked about how getting closer to God is the most important thing we should aim for. For our activity, we demonstrated sacrificing and giving up of oneself by blowing up a balloon and letting it slide all the way to Jesus. Although the balloon gave up it's air, it did reach its goal of getting close to Jesus. To view the video, please feel free to check it out at our YouTube Channel. Thanks for listening and God bless!

Today's episode is different. It was difficult for the kids to comprehend the Gospel but they did remember the most important Bible verse which is John 3:16. It's different today because we did a special craft activity instead to remember this important verse which summarizes Jesus' message for us. Check out the video episode here.

Today is the First Sunday of Lent. This Gospel tells us the story when Jesus stayed in the desert for 40 days. So we decided to look into what Lent is all about. We have 2 activities, one which motivates us to continue giving to God (either offering or giving up as a sacrifice) and the other which helps the kids decide on what to give up or fill up during this season. Thanks for listening and God bless!

Jesus wants to heal us and make us whole ... before we even ask for it! Because He loves us. That healing ministry continues today through the power of the Holy Spirit within us. “ For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39. This Sunday, Jesus summarizes the 10 Commandments into 2: Loving God and others. The Gospel reading reminds us of our call to love. But sometimes, this is hard to do. This week's activity reminds us that with the help of the Holy Spirit, we're given extra grace to fulfill our mission to love others. As mentioned in Romans 5:5, "And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us." This week, we also...
