Despite the fact that we knew much of the content of the premiere episode of Extant based on the promotional material, there were still plenty of surprises in Re-Entry. The identity of the "man in the shadows" in particular got my eyebrows to pop up. Pilots are a tricky business: how do you balance all the exposition with an engaging, action-packed narrative? Luckily, the series premiere had just the right amount of both as well as many discussable mysteries that are perfect for a podcast....
