I love a Patrick & Erika episode. They dance close to the Seinfeld “Schmoopie” line on occasion but never cross it. Keep up the great work and BBV 4 ever!

The definition of an everyman hang out podcast! It's genre and meat and potatoes all the way, with little patience for highbrow sentiment. The comfort zone is firmly set, with recommendations taken at face value as if its assumed that everyone has about the same taste. This is not a...Read full review »

I know this podcast has gotten negative reviews as of late related to their political preferences (who cares? It’s a movie podcast). The real problem dragging this show down is how the hosts have devolved into scrolling IMDb and Wikipedia for cast notes instead of having an off the cuff...Read full review »

How much do I love F This Movie! Brilliant show run by podmeister excelsior Patrick Bromley. So informative, so funny, so wonderfully opinionated - I love him and Adam and all the guests on the show. Waaaaay more people should listen! I adore Corpse Club too, and have even discovered Reserved...Read full review »

…. but, as with so many entertainment podcasts, the hosts just can’t not comment on “problematic” (ie: politically conservative/not woke) people in the movies they are commenting on, whether behind/in front of the camera. It’s so annoying. I usually listen to one or two episodes of interest,...Read full review »

I find Patrick to be a very engaging podcaster with a great voice but sometimes it’s too in-jokey and collage radio like. Plus the biggest issue; the constant over-obsession with the 90s. It’s so prevalent in fact that i do not for the life of me understand why they don’t just make it officially...Read full review »

Fantastic film podcast by highly knowledgable depressed Liberals. It’s like a warm blanket.
DzigaKubrick via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/04/22
One of the best podcast about movies hosted by Patrick Bromley. The home of Junesploitation and 7 word scary movie review. And remember its someones favourite movie, even if they are depressed liberals.

The podcast is always fun (and I love that Patrick has female voices on too, a lot of movie podcasts seem to “forget” that women LOVE movies too) but you should also check out the columns on the website, so many different voices and fun reads. They support each other.

Absolutely fantastic podcast. Considered & measured discussion on cinema is getting more & more difficult to find in a landscape increasingly saturated by people with little or nothing to say but Patrick & co. maintain a high critical standard balanced with great fun & facts....Read full review »

I really like the guys in this podcast, especially the host, Adam and Doug, but even jb is cool. Their voices are really smooth, they don’t shout or laugh too hard like other podcasters do and I’ve no idea how people can stand listening to them. I disagree with everything they say but they’re...Read full review »

I am an avid movie buff and I listen to 3 movie podcasts only - and I’ve given plenty of them a fair go. I need not mention the other podcasts here, suffice it to say I love this show! I’ve been listening to the show for about eight years and all I can say is what a lovely podcast! There are very rarely guests who I don’t care for their sense of humor, but by and large this is an amazing podcast and my favorite movie centered one. Take note, they start out every episode with...Read full review »

I see some reviews complaining that the show has too many inside jokes and digressions. Sue me, but that’s called character. I’ve given up on too many podcasts that stick to just talking about the movie because it’s frankly kinda boring. I like getting to know the hosts and guests, knowing their...Read full review »

We’re 32 minutes into the Pretty Woman episode and they’re finally starting to talk about the movie. There are much more entertaining and less boring podcasts out there. Sorry. This is just. So. Boring.

I subscribed to this recently and it has a lot of strengths and weaknesses. I’ll focus on the positive because I really like the host, the general topics, the consistent release of episodes and the sound quality. Sometimes the digressions and inside jokes are just a bit much though. I’m glad...Read full review »

They talk way too much about things that have nothing to do with the movies. IDGAF about your hotdogs man, I checked you out to hear about The Warriors. I checked out when they would not stop talking about the hotdogs. And this is not Mike D. Who uses the name of a super famous person? Lame.

I’ve listened and enjoyed this podcast for years now. I’ve even had my 7 word review read by JB during scary movie month. Although I like the entire crew, my personal favorite shows are when Patrick and JB team up. Their love for movies is honest and incredibly relatable.

one of my absolute favorite things is listening to adam riske unabashedly love what he loves. it’s a joy to hear, and we all have those movies that catch us in the right way at the right time, and it’s refreshing to hear him, and patrick, discuss movies dear to their hearts.

High quality and high casual movie discussion, the opening “what have you seen lately?” segment goes long too often though. AV Club sent me here (IT review)

My favourite podcast, for sure. And that's even though I'm not a big fan of horror, but luckily a wide range of movies is covered. Patrick is a great host, always interesting to hear his opinions on movies, and it's nice that he's joined by different guests every week! The show...Read full review »

A great podcast from people who truly love movies!!! Also, a great community around the podcast. F This Movie hosts various annual events (Junesploitation, F This Moviefest, Scary Movie Month) that allow for excellent audience interaction.

It's hard to listen when one persons audio is louder than the other, especially when driving or with ear buds in...content seems ok. The men seem to be very conscientious of 'issues' and come across as politically correct in who and what they are comfortable in criticizing.Read full review »

Original review from 2012: I absolutely love F This Movie. It strikes the perfect balance of meaningful critique and 'I'm just sitting at a diner talking with my friends'. And even though there's a rotation of co-hosts, there's no 'that guy' - the one who talks too...Read full review »
