Superb scholarship & artistry
This has grown to become one of my favorite historical podcasts. Well researched & extremely academically rigorous, host Paul Cooper also has a fine ear for poetry & prosaic flourish, and also sound design, making the experience of listening truly captivating. Potentially confusing or difficult subject matter is explained clearly, concisely & eloquently, and the performance of original sources by trained voice actors brings a concreteness & emotional impact that might otherwise be completely missing. Excellent stuff. Highly recommended.

Loving what you’ve done so far. I always judge podcasts by how many times I go back and listen to them again and I’ve done it a lot with this one. Highly recommended.
