Just can’t get into it…
I’m really interested in this case but I agree with a previous reviewer about the need for a better narrator. The narrator’s voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me. I’ve listened to a lot of other podcasts without professional actors and it’s never bothered me but this guy sounds like the SNL skit “The Californians”. It didn’t hit me until 39 minutes into the first episode when he said , “It was time to load up and get out of town on the US 380 westbound…” It’s so bad. I can’t stop laughing. I just can’t get into this podcast. The audio from the phone interviews with the experts is poor. It’s not engaging so I’m finding it really hard to pay attention to the story. Every time the narrator talks my skin crawls. I am really interested in this case, though. I’m going to find another podcast that covered it so I can learn the rest of the story.

Not much content here. Repeats itself and uses lots of music to fill the time.

Listened to one episode and after the fourth sexist, classist and sensationalist comment I unsubscribed. Wondery shows are normally worth a listen but not this one!

Great podcast if you can get past the monotonous narrator. Bless his heart…inflection is our friend.
