Not the quality I expect from Wondery
I suffered through one and a half episodes of this before I couldn’t take it anymore. This feels like a story that could have been told in an hour or less stretched out to span several hours. The constant repetition of the same sound bites and information and the time spent on minor details were too much for me. When the story of how one of the officers on this case became a police officer seemed to turn into a podcast of its own, I tapped out. Fortunately, this was free by the time I came upon it, so I didn’t waste my money, and you shouldn’t waste your time.

More reviews of Families Who Kill
I tried as much as I could but had to give up: A) constant background music is annoying B) all the voices are like recorded through a tin can C) this is so slow… the interviews could have been cut by 90% and still get to the point Bad.

This is very well done. The narrative and interviews are fantastic and the melding of family stories and history are seem less. Worth your time! Enjoy the mayhem.

Another excellent podcast from Wondery. Anyone complaining about music and audio should check the listening platform they are using. This podcast was clear and background music was not an issue. Don’t pass this up based on someone’s issue with their phone
