Say More and Talk Less, Please!
I have great curiosity, respect, and empathy. I just don’t have all the time in the world. The 2-part episode with Sarah Willis Fisher may be what ends my listening habit of Family Secrets. I couldn’t wait for her to get to the points—so much embroidery and so little stitching. What is she trying to tell us?!?! What are the actual events? I ended up listening at 2x speed and still jumping in 30-second chunks. Not to rush someone along on her own story to tell, but do be sure the story is coming through, right? Where are the editing and the incisive (or even just obvious) questions? This is a podcast, not a therapy session.

You would do well to keep politics out of your presentations. Nobody asked your opinion about it. I unsubscribed as well.

Others are overly dramatic. And to find out your father is half or quarter black and behave like this is rocks your world is just a little too much.
