If Carson Cistulli's linguistic detours are one of the big reasons you visit Fangraphs in the first place, you'll love this. If they aren't, the question will become whether you can tolerate him or not. Personally, I like Carson's style and find it adds a uniqueness to baseball discourse that isn't often seen, but it's totally understandable that some would be put off. This podcast is a natural extension of Cistulli and whoever his guest is, so if you're familiar with the writing of those involved, it's pretty easy to predict how the episodes shape up. A must for Cistulli fans, and recommended for those who don't find him irritating, as the guests will usually make the show worth it.Read full review »
