It's a pretty solid show, but it really suffers from some of the quirks from the host. I think he does a great job of facilitating the conversation, and typically asks pretty solid questions. However, his "style" is grating to the point where every episode I'm on the verge of shutting things down. If Carson would simply drop all of his affectations and silly repeated jokes (it's a podcast, not "a pod", nobody cares about how round the table might be, and we get it, Cameron once made a joke about a player dying)the show would improve a great deal. He's simply not funny, and would be well advised to stop trying to make jokes and focus on the solid job he does of moving the conversation forward.Read full review »
