“Dear Jimmy, Robert, John and John, I am in a 14-keeper league. After the draft, I made a light-hearted side wager with another team in the league. The bet was that when we inevitably met in the playoffs (we were clearly favourites going into the season), the winner of the matchup would get a pint and a pound of wings. Now, in true fantasy disappointment, even though we were two top seeds, both of us lost in the first round and then again in the first round of the consolation bracket. This pinned us against each other in the 'all-disappointment bowl' for the heralded battle for the 7th place finish. I ended up winning this matchup giving me some minor consolation in my disastrous finish, However, he is saying that this doesn't as a playoff matchup. Should he have to pay up, or does he have a legit out? Fantasy cops, what say you? Thanks! PS - I started listening to your show with my 12-year-old son this year (Saturday show in particular).
