“Been listening for years for the analysis, which is pretty good. They have a new host, Tom Strachan, for best ball-themed pods and he's really good (with a charming, soothing British accent).
They really, really need to tell Deebro to calm down though. He knows his stuff analytics-wise, so it's really unnecessary/grating to hear him go into his high-pitched squealing, screaming and giggling. It's just really annoying. He likes to turn all the attention to himself instead of just giving us the analysis we're looking for to draft better teams/make better decisions. When he's in "calm" mode, he's actually pretty insightful.
The main host, Joe P., has gotten a lot better over time. He used to interrupt a lot and now he's more of a solid host who keeps the train running on schedule.
Others on the show -- especially guests from other pods -- can be really good in terms of bringing fresh voices/perspectives to the show.
Overall, I give it three/five stars because it's "solid/good." Would give more if I didn't need to adjust the volume every time Deebro goes into one of his high-pitched rants, which happens maybe three or four times every show. I still like Fantasy Football Today, Establish the Run, Most Accurate better. But Fantasy Pros is definitely in my rotation.”Read full review »
