Nitpicking and skepticism doesn't = intelligent criticism
Aron is so annoying. I thought the Legion podcast was bad but man this is rough. Constantly nitpicking little details is not a worthy substitute for thoughtful analysis. I'm sorry to come off harsh but it's really an insufferably smug and pedantic stance to adopt in relation to artworks which are the product of entire teams of intelligent and talented people's hours and hours of hard work. Have some hermeneutic generosity! You seem to assume that anything which doesn't immediately present itself to you transparently or easily meet your expectations is a mistake. Maybe consider that the error is in your reception and not in the object of your interpretation. I never post rants like this but the attitude towards these quality shows was so insufferable I felt the need to say something. Again, not saying you can't be critical, but the way you are going about it is not insightful or interesting.Read full review »

More reviews of Fargo - An Unofficial Podcast
I have long enjoyed your Mad Men and GoT casts, and was delighted to discover you are covering Fargo as well. I just binge-watched the first half of the season and then binge-listened to you analyze it, and the experience was amplified by your thoughtful commentary. You guys are great.
