Description
A bonus episode all about tips and tricks to alleviate holiday stress. Who gets an upset stomach just thinking about all that has to be done between now and the end of the year...yikes! I've been there - and am a recovering perfectionist for sure! In this bonus episode I share my 3 tips to alleviate holiday stress and enjoy them!    1)  Let go of the P word! Perfectionism. If all the holiday decorations, presents, cookies, outfits, and responsibilities must be done perfectly, you are setting yourself up for stress and over the top anxiety. It’s easy to fall into the “if it’s not perfect, I’ve failed” trap. Show your imperfections, your vulnerabilities….happy and meaningful - joy’full’ hearts are what we need to strive for. Identify Your stress triggers   2)  There is power in saying No. This is so challenging because we feel like we’re letting people down. But when you make thoughtful choices about what you WANT to do and what you don’t want to do, you can then participate in the things that are meaningful to you and bring you joy, rather than those that make you anxious.  Build your Village Identify your connected community  and ask for support!  3)  Take time to remember those who are not with you. The holidays can be a sad and stressful time when you have lost someone that you love.  Create a tradition to remember them.  Are you ready to double your confidence?
