Trans rights
So I listened to the trans bathroom laws podcast and it was appalling to hear her talk about trans people. The lawyer she had on the show talked about instances where men and boys had gone into bathrooms to assault women, saying that they would take advantage of using women's restrooms and locker rooms. The state of Maine has had gender identity protections in its states civil rights law for more than 11 years and has not had one incident. This is the case for most states with gender identity protections. Most of the time it's the opposite, with trans people being assaulted for using bathrooms that don't match their gender identity. When she talks about what she wishes would be done she basically says that there should be bathrooms separate and equal. Hmmm where have you heard that before? Separate but equal. 🤔Feminist?
