Feeling represented
Listened to the episode with Jameela on a walk the other day. I began the walk in a frenzy of self consciousness. Battling between my surfacing need to be skinny and my self love - the years of reconditioning my mind to not hate my body seemingly pointless. As I continued on my walk and the podcast I was able to see myself in the stories of Jameela and Scarlett. I laughed and maybe shed a tear or two. And I ended my walk feeling uplifted, re-centred, focusing again on my worth beyond my weight.

This is a great pod cast for anyone wanting to know what it is to be as feminist. I’ve got the book on order and I follow Scarlett on insta m, she’s a great journalist and inspiration for women.
