Disappointed
Very disappointed with this podcast. I find Scarlett to just agree along with the guests even when they are out of line. Horrified that Chidera Eggerue was given an episode after tweeting ‘If men are committing s*icide because they can’t cry, how’s it my concern?’ In response to the male suicide epidemic. I find this type of ‘feminism’ horrific and dangerous. Chidera suggested that pairing with a wealthier partner so she doesn’t have to be a ‘mule’ is the way forward as, as a black woman she doesn’t have equal opportunity. This irritates me so much! Why should we lean on a partner to be the ‘mule’? Shouldn’t we be urging all women to be independent or go for whatever jobs they want? This is 2019!
