A great and intelligent podcast. The topics are always engaging. The banter between hosts is genuine and warm. This is definitely a good podcast which many will find interesting to listen to. I can definitely recommend it and have done so to many friends.

This is an interesting & entertaining podcast, so far all the episodes have been great, but I really loved the Simpsons ep.

This podcast couldn’t have come at a better time. All the dystopian scenarios that you’d typically read about in books look like they’re coming true in real life, but this is a really sober, very well-researched approach to whether reality is imitating fiction and to what extent. They invite some...Read full review »

Best overall pod cast I’ve come across and love the theory and research behind every episode

Chanting a President’s name as evidence for the president being evil. You could find evidence for any president being evil if this was true evidence. This podcast is pure fantasy. How is this stuff promoted on itunes?

I had to listen to a podcast for my english class and I found fiction predictions. Very happy I did.

I like the idea behind the podcast but it doesn't meet any of my expectations. The Titanic episode has been the only one which has lived up to the 'fiction prediction' title. WIth some of the other episodes the connections are too vague and hardly worth doing a podcast on.Read full review »

Great stuff! Very intersting topics discussed. Finally there is something on how movies and books predict what actually happens in the future. One would think why hasn’t this been done earlier? 5 stars.

I love fiction of all sorts and it's great to see a new angle on familiar topics. Also, love the funky jingles. Approved!Read full review »

I’m really enjoying this podcast so far, and eagerly awaiting more. It’s an interesting premise — what can past works of fiction tell us about the present — and the hosts sell it.

I am thoroughly enjoying these podcasts and waiting for more episodes to come!

Good sound quality. Voices of performers aren’t wholly disagreeable. They are however trying far too hard to find deep meaning and reason in things. Not everything has profound meaning. Some things just don’t ha e meaning

Really interesting, I’ve always been interested in this concept and also in the things that science fiction got so wrong not too long ago because technology has just gone in such an interesting direction. Keep it up guys.

Really good idea here - i imagine it will have plenty of mileage, and it's also a good way of reflecting upon contemporary politics, world issues etc through a lighter and more human format than a straightforward (and so often unremittingly depressing) news broadcast. The hosts both seem...Read full review »
