My two cents on Filipino teachers' competence in question because of dismal rankings in various international assessments on basic education. 

I just decided to get back on track and keep it going. I let myself loose and discussed why I want to help others become self reliant. I also spoke about call center, my teacher broadcaster name and may back and forth about becoming self reliant. Finally I broke a news at then end of this episode.

This episode is taken out of my deep feeling about social media shaming of teachers who made errors. I expressed my thoughts about Filipinos who are fond of criticizing teachers. And I would like to encourage everyone out there who will hear this episode to be forgiving, gentle and of help instead of being a merciless critic.

Frustration and anger can be our instant reaction, why not step back and put yourself out of your emotion a bit and get into your head?

A call for everyone to participate to this school year's brigada eskwela. Some of my personal experience helping the school even back when I was a not a public school teacher. The pandemic has demand more of us to prepare our schools and classrooms.

Whenever we are threatened, we either go our separate ways out of fear and reveal the worst in us. But that is not so with DepEd.

In this episode I openly give my opinions on two issues: 1. Teachers' having their salaries in tact during the pandemic. 2. In preparation issues such as lack of internet connection and gadgets.

How it's going for us teachers in this week?, and why parents should choose enrolling their kids, despite the lack of internet at home. What is my say about letting your kids pass this school year away.

Self reliance encompassses not only the financial or temporal aspect, we also need to be self reliant in other areas of our lives. As self reliance is defined, how can exerting efforts(trying, doing), increasing our skills and abilities, and our undying commitment can play a huge role in creating a world where everyone can stand on their feet.

Teaching can be hard if we don't enjoy it, in this episode I talk about my purpose, cause having a purpose makes our profession meaningful. My purpose helps me to always seek to improve myself and become competent teacher.
