Could have been fascinating
I grew up in a conservative family and was probably ten years old when Drudge broke the Clinton scandal. Drudge has been fascinating to me my entire adult life, so this podcast looked so interesting. Instead, we get another tired ‘fake mystery, no solution’ type podcast that sets up a mystery that isn’t that compelling (where is Matt Drudge and why did he disappear?!!? Answers- probably somewhere warm/ because he doesn’t like attention) then doesn’t even solve its own phony central mystery. A straightforward profile with lots of interviews and analysis of his impact on the media landscape would have been way more enjoyable.
