A Star Trek podcast for people who don’t like Star Trek
I got to the Angel One episode and then gave up. Whilst we can all appreciate that the first season of STTNG has a few issues with recycling stories, racial stereotyping, sexism etc. (Yes, we’re all enlightened 21st century viewers). The presenters spend their time simply pointing out these points in a smug, holier than thou way rather than engaging in the philosophical topics that many of the episodes bring to light (eg Data’s questions on what it is to be human, or about interference with technologically inferior cultures). You can be forgiven for thinking they actually hate ST and have no understanding of the aim of show. The tiresome and repetitive, “Wait, Geordi is blind?” wasn’t funny when it was first mentioned and is irksome when heard on every episode afterwards.

Very nice production value on this show, and it is nice to have a first...Read full review »
