Flow in traffic
It’s 5:10 pm. You just left work. Just like the other 9999 cars in front of you. The radio host is talking about how we all got addicted to technology and how it separated us. How it made us lonelier. The traffic is too heavy so you pull out your phone. The first post you see is a quote: watch who you surround yourself with. You’re surrounded by a bunch of strangers and their cars. You’re not alone at all but still you feel bored and lonely. Non of them seem to have anything in common with you but the street and the pain of the traffic. The girl in the BMW is actually hot but You ACTUALLY don’t want to go to the gym in this traffic and the battle between you and yourself is draining the last bit of energy out of you. Suddenly a notification interrupts the battle. Flow’s new episode is out. You play it and the battle fades away. The cars and the traffic fades away. Now you’re in a car with Arman and his gust having a chat about all the things you love. All the interests you have in common. You’re listening, smiling and wished that red light would stay red just a bit longer so you could finish the discussion about the benefits of exercise. But the light turns green and you turn towards the gym and ... you flow. You didn’t surround yourself with the wrong ones and technology didn’t make us lonely after all it seems.

I usually hear the typical origin stories of the guests people bring on to their show and it’s usually the same conversation as what I would listen to in another podcast. Arman doesn’t do that. He asks thought provoking questions people don’t normally...Read full review »
