Arrogant ill informed and biased
This was recommended by lineker (clearly) And as I approach 70 with 60 years supporting my home club Wolverhampton Wanderers I expected to listen to more about my clubs glorious past. Aside from the odd reference to Cullis I was mostly disappointed with the hosts focus on boring aspects of their clubs. Seeing a podcast titled ‘The Midlands’. I gave it another chance, only to be amused by silly discussions on geographical boundaries with more time allocated to Skegness Ipswich and Cornwall than an honest in depth appreciation of why wolves were the best team in the world during the 50’s no mention of the floodlit games against Europes best that captivated the likes of George Best Alex Ferguson and indeed most of European football fans. Beating Honved who had 8 of the Hungary national team who trounced England by 9 goals months earlier. The only mention of Billy Wright ( first player in the world to get 100 caps for his country- 90+ as captain) was that he was a nice chap at ATV !! Really chaps you must do better… but I won’t be listening

This nostalgic podcast is the best football podcast I’ve heard. Brings back so many memories of the 1960s. How about doing an episode on the rise of the Sky Blues in the 1960s under the great Jimmy Hill.
