“I’ve listened to this podcast for well over a decade and it continues to entertain, inform, and inspire me.
In particular, it’s willingness to engage critically with the social issues related to football has inspired me to question my complicity in egregious/problematic goings-on. For that reason, I have decided to boycott the the 2022 World Cup as a viewer, which I realize will have no grand effect on the matter but I’ve decided that is where I wish to deploy my “stubborn ounces.” Thank you Football Weekly for giving we the knowledge and insight to make an informed decision.
