Listened for many months, time to move on
I had subscribed to a ton of FF podcasts when I first learned of them this pre-season. When I sorted through all the bad ones, I only kept listening to 4. After going through the pre-season and 13 weeks of the season, I have decided to stop listening to The Audible. I loved that they were multiple shows during the week, but I found myself recently only listening to the Review show on Monday, because no one else does a review show for Monday's. But I can't do it anymore. Sigmund Bloom was really good and I really enjoyed his analysis a lot and I will miss that portion of the show, but I just can't stomach Cecil Lamey anymore. His 'shtick' is nauseating. Too often he tries too hard for a joke, and 9 times out of 10 they're lame. I'm tired of hearing him say, "....I'm talking about <Insert Stud NEFL Player First Name Here> Freaking <Insert Stud NFL Player's Last Name Here>." He overmodulates the microphone 2-3 times a show, and comes through booming through my speakers (which are already turned up due to poor sound quality). And this past week when he broke into the lame Twisted Sister joke, I said, that's it I've had enough. I'll miss Bloom's analysis, but I just can't handle Lamey's lame antics anymore. Some may find this a good podcast, and I did, but you too may outgrow it and grow bored & tired of it. I'll stick with TFFG, Fanball & KFAN.Read full review »

This podcast is excellent. Fairly consistent publishing schedule, quite a bit of content, good depth, and the podcasters are generally not annoying. Most FF shows have really annoying hosts who argue back and forth all the time - for a show that's pretty laid back, very informative and...Read full review »

It's not perfect, but it's really good. I've listened to nearly every podcast on the subject, and this is the only one I keep coming back to consistently. Fantastic analysis by both Sigmund and Cecil, but they keep it lighthearted. I can see how reviewers would criticize Cecil for...Read full review »

An excellent source of fantasy football information. Their interviews are very professional and the depth of knowledge is exceptional. After checking out their podcast, I went to the website and found more football information than I ever expected. If you're not listening to these guys,...Read full review »
