I’m just following Jared’s orders in lieu of the recent review drought. As a young pastor, this resource has always been insightful, encouraging, and full of practical wisdom. Keep up the great work guys!

One of the few two-guys-and-a-mic podcasts that I really enjoy; and their theology is spot-on! This podcast is so good I can’t believe it’s free!

Getting ready to start my masters in ministry at Midwestern online, and I wanted to try and get to know the people of Midwestern better since I will not be on campus. I am grateful for this podcast, The Heart of Pastoring podcast, the Midwestern chapel podcast. It has been great for my continual...Read full review »

What amazes me about this podcast (other than Ross trashing a truly beautiful film and celebrating Christian cinematic drivel) is the two hosts’ ability to avoid the cynicism sometimes prevalent in Christian podcasting AND avoid the shallow or unreflective discussions sometimes also prevalent in...Read full review »

Thank you for the podcast But you are missing a great selling point with your movie reviews. They are time savers! Both Jared’s review of a “Christian” film and Ross’s review of an Indy film (with subtitles) made me so turned off from those movies that I will never watch them…. So well done....Read full review »

Despite Jared’s refusal to reply to my email inviting him to endorse my book, I’m happy to endorse his podcast. Realistic, fun, and packed full of practical ministry wisdom. Well worth your time.

Thankful for this pod! Is that what the kids are calling it nowadays? Had no idea J Swizzle had a sultry singing voice! Maybe these two fine men can go on tour; Ross can read some Chalmer and J Swizz can sing some Sinatra. I’d buy tickets to that! #dontquityourdayjobs

I always enjoy every episode of “For the Church” because I leave having thought through an issue from a gospel lens and how to apply it to my walk with Christ and my position as a church leader. Really enjoyed the most-recent episode on how we can assume the best of others instead of the worst....Read full review »

This podcast has truly helped refine my heart towards deep doctrine with a gentle dialog. As a High school/ college pastor, it is so needed in this generation to bring deep truth with real love. For the Church podcast: where the hosts have more personality than your aunt Mildred's cat. It's like a theological rollercoaster – one minute you're pondering deep mysteries, and the next you're contemplating which Christmas song is best (seriously).Read full review »

I have admittedly been listening to the FTC podcast for a few years now and have abstained from reviewing the podcast.
