Where running meets life
There are tons of good running podcasts that will discuss running, nutrition, races and equipment. For the long run has all of those aspects as well, but it has a deeper level of engagement in its guests lives. The guests tend to be people that are not just runners, but are using running to better themselves and the world in which we live. Running is more than just a physical activity that exists separately from everything else happening around us and FTLR does an amazing job of highlighting the intermingling of running, society, current events, social issues and individual struggles.

This podcast is my happy place. I find myself nodding and shouting yes! through most of the interviews. Jonathan asks the best questions. He is eloquent and articulate, does not ramble and says things that really make you think! Keep these episodes coming!
