The intersection of climbing and pysche
As a social worker who delves into trauma like a kid in a toy bin I’m comfortable having conversations most people shy away. I’ve found myself at the crag talking about shared traumas the hard stuff in life and psychological things we can’t escape. I see our community is in desperate need for the exploration of real raw truth and more than just happy instagram stories. Kathy delivers the remedy with her new podcast, For The Love of Climbing as she uses her gift of story telling and interviewing to highlight all the truth in our sport, the real, the raw, the beautiful and the hidden. Five stars for this podcast shining light on the human experience in a culture that too often focuses only on the send.

I’m sitting poolside, laying out in the sun, while tears roll down my cheeks. And this is just the intro! Sharing stories like this is so important. I love the balance of wit and wisdom. Can’t wait for the next episode!
